<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,1721940,00.html">My Chemical Romance</a>&#8217;s <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/news/article/1,,4941626,00.html">Frank Iero</a> may specialize in dark, brooding and bombastic alt rock, but he&#8217;s got a soulful side. A look at the My Chem axe man&#8217;s iTunes playlist reveals that he&#8217;s really into <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,483565,00.html">Otis Redding</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,494163,00.html">Percy Sledge</a>. That might be hard to believe when you crank My Chem or Frank&#8217;s horrorcore side project, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,4130564,00.html">Leathermouth</a>, nevertheless, the man has a very diverse taste in tunes.</p>
<p>Check out Frank&#8217;s playlist below and take a gander at My Chemical Romance&#8217;s brand new video for their cover of <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,426084,00.html">Bob Dylan</a>&#8217;s <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/window/media/page/video/0,,4936719,00.html">&#8220;Desolation Row&#8221;</a> from the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,4919000,00.html"><I>Watchmen</I></a> soundtrack.<br />

<b>Frank Iero&#8217;s Playlist:</b></p>
<p>1.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,2504863,00.html">The Bronx</a> — <A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,4840374,00.html"><I>The Bronx (III)</I></a></p>
<p>&#8220;How fucking good is that new Bronx record? I&#8217;ve been a fan of The Bronx since their first record. <I>III</I> is so good that now their <A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,3705556,00.html">second record</a> make more sense to me. I think great records from bands will always make you go back through their catalog and listen to everything with new ears. This album shows their progression, and I love that. I heard about their upcoming mariachi record, and I&#8217;m very excited about it. This album is one of the best records that has come out in a long time. I&#8217;d love to see Leathermouth and The Bronx tour together.&#8221;</p>
<p>2.	<A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,470496,00.html">Morrissey</a> — <A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,4889980,00.html"><I>Years of Refusal</I></a></p>
<p>&#8220;I recently got the new Morrissey which I dig.&#8221;</p>
<p>3.	<A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,2843953,00.html">The Killers</a> — <A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,4813265,00.html"><I>Day &#038; Age</I></a></p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m also enjoying the new Killers record. I think it&#8217;s really good.&#8221;</p>
<p>4.	Otis Redding</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m completely obsessed with Otis Redding. I love &#8216;These Arms Are Mine&#8217; and &#8216;That&#8217;s How Strong My Love Is.&#8217; Those are some of my favorite songs. They&#8217;re unlikely love songs because they&#8217;re all about the pain involved in losing someone you love. To me, those are the best soul songs. I love &#8217;60s soul. I don&#8217;t know if it&#8217;s because I grew up listening to the stuff my dad listened to. My mom was definitely more of a &#8217;50s girl. She loved Doo Wop. My dad&#8217;s a huge Joe Cocker fan though, and he loves all of these other great soul singers. That&#8217;s really my favorite type of music. I could listen to that shit forever.&#8221;</p>
<p>5.	Percy Sledge</p>
<p><I>—Rick Florino<br />
