</h3>
<p>&#8220;Everything is on my playlist,&#8221; chuckles a smirking <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/movies/principal/0,,2106560,00.html">Efren Ramirez</a>. &#8220;Everything&#8221; may even be an understatement. The eclectic actor&#8217;s musical palette is just as diverse as he is. From his show-stealing turn as Pedro in <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/movies/title/0,,2798171,00.html"><I>Napoleon Dynamite</I></a> to his role as Venus in <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/movies/title/0,,4466571,00.html"><I>Crank: High Voltage</I></a>, Efren remains an engaging and enigmatic screen presence. </p>
<p>However, he&#8217;s popping out of the frame more than ever these days. Efren explains, &#8220;Anything that has to do with the arts changes. If you think you&#8217;re old tricks are going to work, forget it. You have to be three steps ahead of everyone else.&#8221; </p>
<p>Efren sat down with us and opened up his iTunes. He shared his personal playlist and his playlist for <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/movies/title/0,,3446794,00.html"><I>Crank</I></a>&#8217;s Venus with us. He continues, &#8220;I always create a soundtrack for each character, and for Venus that soundtrack was crucial.&#8221;</p>
<p>Check out Venus&#8217; and Efren&#8217;s playlists below and be sure to see <I>Crank : High Voltage</I> in theaters on April 17!<br />

<B>Venus&#8217; Playlist:</b></p>
<p>1.	<A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,408346,00.html">Bronski Beat</a> – <A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/window/media/page/0,,241064-802886,00.html">&#8220;Why?&#8221;</a></p>
<p>&#8220;I listened to this a lot to get into Venus&#8217; head space.&#8221; </p>
<p>2.	Peter Shelley – &#8220;Homosapien&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s something Venus would totally listen to. He&#8217;d love all of that electro, new wave and &#8217;80s music. I&#8217;d listen to that song on the way to the studio when we were filming.&#8221; </p>
<p>3.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,422968,00.html">Devo</a> – &#8220;Freedom of Choice&#8221;</p>
<p>4.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,474278,00.html">Gary Numan</a> </p>
<p>5.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,494862,00.html">The Smiths</a></p>
<p>&#8220;Venus would definitely listen to The Smiths with Morrissey and, maybe, <I>Bona Drag</I> because it has &#8216;The Last of the International Playboys.&#8217;</p>
<p><b>Efren Ramirez&#8217;s Playlist:</b></p>
<p>1.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,473656,00.html">Nirvana</a></p>
<p>&#8220;I love Nirvana! I made a techno remix of &#8216;Smells Like Teen Spirit.&#8217; My friends got me <I>Rock Band</I>, and it took me awhile to connect it. Finally I connected it, and I had to sing &#8216;Drain You.&#8217; I was trying to be Kurt Cobain &#91;Laughs&#93;. I tried doing <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,402253,00.html">Beastie Boys</a>, and it didn&#8217;t work. I was like, &#8216;Forget It.&#8217; &#91;Laughs&#93;&#8221;2.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,448635,00.html">Jane&#8217;s Addiction</a></p>
<p>3.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,473622,00.html">Nine Inch Nails</a></p>
<p>4.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,1044937,00.html">Ludacris</a></p>
<p>5.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,495016,00.html">Snoop Dogg</a></p>
<p>6.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,917011,00.html">The Ying Yang Twins</a></p>
<p>7.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,1002910,00.html">Bubba Sparxxx</a></p>
<p>&#8220;Bubba Sparxxx is just Bubba Sparxxx! That&#8217;s why I love him.&#8221; </p>
<p>8.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,424518,00.html">The Doors</a></p>
<p>9.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,969877,00.html">N.E.R.D.</a> </p>
<p>10.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,402274,00.html">The Beatles</a></p>
<p>11.	The Eyecandy Twins</p>
<p>&#8220;They not only mix, but they create their own songs</p>
<p>12.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,592659,00.html">Paul Van Dyk</a></p>
<p>13.	DJ Irene</p>
<p>14.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,721308,00.html">Kanye West</a></p>
<p>&#8220;People are knocking down Kanye West, but his new album, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,4854819,00.html"><I>808s &#038; Heartbreak</I></a>, is different.&#8221; </p>
<p>15.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,537291,00.html">Deep Dish</a></p>
<p>16.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,1085160,00.html">Cee-Lo</a></p>
<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s a great artist!&#8221; </p>
<p>17.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,427174,00.html">Danny Elfman</a> – <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,3821649,00.html"><I>The Nightmare Before X-Mas</I></a></p>
