<p>There are two personalities to every great artist.</p>
<p> The first is that of the introspective and thoughtful artisan, crafting songs alone and truly conveying feelings. Then there&#8217;s the charismatic, outspoken performer—delivering said songs every night on stage for the world to hear.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/colbie-caillat/4171817">Colbie Caillat</a>&#8217;s iPod reflects that sentiment.</p>
<p> She laughs, &#8220;I have an upbeat playlist, and then I have a chill-out playlist. However, some songs are on both mixes because the have the same vibe!&#8221;</p>
<p>Colbie sat down with ARTISTdirect.com editor and <A target="_blank" href="http://www.bookofdolor.com"><I>Dolor</I></a> author <A target="_blank" href="http://www.bookofdolor.com">Rick Florino</a> for this exclusive interview about what&#8217;s currently rocking her world.</p>
<p> She filled ARTISTdirect.com in on the songs that currently make up both of her playlists. Check out Colbie&#8217;s selections below!</p>
<p><B>Colbie Caillat&#8217;s Playlist:</b></p>
<p>1.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/adele/3864401">Adele</a></p>
<p>2.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/amy-winehouse/2758613">Amy Winehouse</a></p>
<p>3.	<A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/kings-of-leon/2504862">Kings of Leon</a><br />
<span id="more-773"></span><br />
4.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/beyonce/716903">Beyonce</a></p>
<p>5.	<A target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/notorious-big/474137">Notorious B.I.G.</a></p>
<p>6.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/jason-mraz/1755990">Jason Mraz</a></p>
<p>7.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/john-mayer/951370">John Mayer</a> </p>
<p>8.	<a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/bob-marley/463519">Bob Marley</a></p>
<p>Bob Marley, Adele and Amy Winehouse are on the chill mix, while the upbeat mix has Kings of Leon, Notorious B.I.G. and Jason Mraz. Right before I recorded this new Christmas song, I was in Paris on my balcony practicing it. It was at night and I was looking at the Eiffel Tower playing the song. It felt like I was in Paris at Christmas time. It was really amazing. Being back in Cali, it&#8217;s sunny outside, and I&#8217;m in the studio singing a Christmas song. It&#8217;s funny &#91;Laughs&#93;. </p>

<p>In order to tackle Cobra in <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/movies/title/0,,4406692,00.html"><I>G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra</I></a>, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/movies/principal/0,,3116353,00.html">Channing Tatum</a> had to find the right tunes.</p>
<p>Music can be crucial on set, so Channing cranked <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/dmx/423956">DMX</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/kanye-west/721308">Kanye West</a> to get primed for his big action sequences. Watching the pulse-pounding final product, he definitely made the right choice. His Duke is always ready to kick some serious ass, and the music certainly helped.</p>
<p>Channing shared his playlist with ARTISTdirect.com in this exclusive feature. Check it out below and catch <I>G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra</I> in theaters Friday!</p>
<p><b>Channing Tatum&#8217;s Playlist:</b></p>
<p>1. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/black-eyed-peas/670697">Black Eyed Peas</a> — &#8220;I Gotta Feeling&#8221;</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been listening to a lot of Black Eyed Peas lately. For some reason, I can&#8217;t stop playing the song &#8220;I Gotta Feeling&#8221; &#91;Laughs&#93;. Every time I hear it, I just feel good immediately. I think Black Eyed Peas are doing it really, really well.<br />
<span id="more-571"></span><br />
2. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/adele/3864401">Adele</a></p>
<p>I love Adele&#8217;s stuff! She always soothes me and calms me down.</p>
<p>3. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/artist/israel-kamakawiwoole/515064">IZ</a></p>
<p>I&#8217;m really into this Haiwaiian artist named IZ.</p>
<p>4. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,461252.,00.html">Lynyrd Skynyrd</a> — <a target="_blank" href="http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/window/media/page/0,,123866-1011888,00.html">&#8220;Sweet Home Alabama&#8221;</a></p>
<p>I listen to a lot of old stuff like country music. I love Lynyrd Skynrd—&#8221;Sweet Home Alabama&#8221; and stuff like that. Skynyrd is always a good go-to!</p>
<p>5. DMX</p>
<p> To get pumped up I&#8217;ll listen to DMX or Kanye West. </p>
