The Lovely Bones star Michael Imperioli shares his playlist with ARTISTdirect.com editor and Dolor Rick Florino in this exclusive feature…

A Taste:

Lou Reed, Television, Patti Smith, Eagles of Death Metal

Michael Imperioli is a man of many talents.

Not only is he an engaging and thought provoking screen presence, but he’s also a bona fide rock n’ roller. Fronting New York City rock group, La Dolce Vita, Imperioli cranks out his own brand of rock n’ roll. So in addition to talents in front of the camera and behind the mic, he’s also branched out further into filmmaking with The Hungry Ghosts.

He wrote and directed this drama about five New Yorkers whose lives crisscross in crisis during a 36-hour period. Plus, he also is currently lighting up the screen in Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones.

Michael Imperioli sat down with ARTISTdirect.com editor and Dolor author Rick Florino in this exclusive interview to talk about what’s on his playlist and more. Check out his playlist below and don’t miss The Lovely Bones!

Michael Imperioli’s Playlist:

1. Lou Reed

2. Television

3. Patti Smith

I like a lot of New York music from the ’70s, the CBGB scene and stuff like that—Lou Reed, Television and Patti Smith. That’s my favorite period of rock music.

4. The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs

I like The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs a lot.

5. Franz Ferdinand

6. Eagles of Death Metal

7. Brian Eno

I love Brian Eno’s stuff. I’m actually a big fan. I thought he did a great job on the score. It’s really cool.
