BlackSummerNight shows a lot of blues influence (possum playing) and gospel. i hear a lot of work in his voice and a lot of connection with the band and it is beautiful. its so beautiful to see someone find themselves and grow even more beautiful (esp to look at). That's one of the things I like about his music. Sometimes I totally blank out on a song...the music so hypnotic, then my consciousness returns and I feel refreshed at the end of the song. It's some weird sort of voodoo, that he do! Sade's music has that effect on me as well. I would love to see them perform together.....
