Many comic book adaptations disappoint the hardcore fans - they basically want to see the comic panel for panel. Obviously the two mediums don't always translate easily (see: Watchmen), but some adaptations are better than others. Given Rucka's level of involvement with the film, and the fact that the source material is a bit less clunky to adapt, I'm excited for this one!
