Right now, he’s got Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes turned up to 11 in his living room, and he’s rocking out to it with a big smile. However, Bert’s full playlist is extremely eclectic to say the least. What’s he listening to other than Ed Sharpe? I like the new Harper Simon record. He’s Paul Simon’s kid. It’s great.

4. Killing Joke — Killing Joke

I’ve been listening to the self-titled Killing Joke record over and over. That’s one of my favorite records. Dave Grohl played on it.

5. Mastodon — Crack the Skye

I’m listening to the new Mastodon record, Crack the Skye a lot.

6. Elliott Smith

I’m always listening to a lot of Elliot Smith.

I love The Misfits!

10. Ink & Dagger

If you love The Misfits, you’d love Ink & Dagger! They’re a vampire punk rock band from Philadelphia but they’re like thrash. The singer died in ‘98, but they were awesome. They’d set up a Christmas tree on stage and throw up on it. They’d huff gas and eat acid before they went on stage. They were the raddest band—punk rock to the core. They were vampires and shit with full makeup.
