Bree Turner of “The Ugly Truth”
The Ugly Truth star gives us an exclusive look at what’s on her iPod…
A Taste:
Radiohead, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson
In The Ugly Truth, Bree Turner’s Joy gets big laughs alongside Katherine Heigl’s neurotic news show producer Abby. Joy grounds Abby, while providing some hilarious perspectives on dating, sex and love. It’s a performance that shows just how talented Turner is.
Coming from the dance world, Turner’s got a very rhythmic acting style. So we sat down with her and talked about some of her favorite music. In this feature, Bree gave us a tour of her playlist.

Bree Turner’s Playlist:
1. Radiohead
I was so into being “indie” about music when I was younger. I would always reject the mainstream [Laughs]. In the mid 90s, Radiohead was it for me. I saw them in a coffee shop in San Francisco in front of 100 people right before The Bends came out. This is what I was doing with my time then—searching out the coolest musical shit. Now, I find myself really wanting to listen to Kelly Clarkson and Pink [Laughs]. I’m not even afraid to admit it. I love pop now. It’s so happy and fun.
