Pop singer Jessie James opens up her iTunes and gives us an exclusive look at the music that’s rocking her world…
A Taste:
Ray LaMontagne, Sia, Zero 7
Jessie James is just what pop music needs. She can belt out infectious melodies with the best of them, but she eschews the veneer of Hollywood glitz and glamour. Plus, she’s not afraid to mix up her sound with a country edge, farther separating her from the pack.
Jessie has quite a diverse musical palette too. She talked to us in this exclusive feature about what’s on her iPod.
Check out Jessie’s playlist below and be sure to pick up her debut on Island/Def Jam this summer!
Jessie James’ Playlist:
1. Ray LaMontagne
“I really like him. I was just listening to him on a plane, and he always puts me in a good mood.”
2. Shelby Lynne
“I listen to her frequently.”
3. Zero 7
“I sing really loud, and I have a big voice. Most people would think that I like to listen to music that’s similar to mine. However, I really like to listen to very chilled-out music. I love Zero 7. It’s very easy music to listen to. It’s nice to relax with this because I’m belting all the time [Laughs].”

Mark Morton of Lamb of God shares his playlist with us in this exclusive feature
A Taste:
Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, The Black Crowes
Lamb of God can certainly pummel with the best of them. However, lead guitarist Mark Morton really just wants to kick back and listen to the blues.
He laughs, “I spend so much time around heavy metal that it’s constantly floating around in my head. Personally, I find more inspiration in that soulful, finesse-y blues playing than I do in modern shredding. That’s not to take away from anything anybody’s doing because there’s a lot to be said for really fast licks. I work on some of that myself [Laughs]. For me, great blues players are who really give me goose bumps.”
Morton opened up his iTunes for us and gave us an exclusive look at the artists that truly inspire him. Check out his playlist below!
Mark Morton’s Playlist:
1. The Black Crowes — Warpaint
“This is probably not what a lot of people want to hear from me [Laughs]. But, I’m still really into the latest Black Crowes record. Luther Dickinson’s slide and lead work is really some of the more exciting guitar playing that I’ve heard lately.”

Bigelf mainman Damon Fox shares his playlist with us in this exclusive feature…
A Taste:
The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Arthur Brown, The Tramps
Bigelf make timeless hard rock. Blending a pronounced theatricality with bombastic riffs and balls-to-the-wall vocals, they conjure an ungodly rock n’ roll thunder on their latest album, Cheat the Gallows.
Frontman Damon Fox spoke to us for this exclusive playlist feature. He opened up his iTunes for us, and it’s no surprise that he’s been blaring a whole lot of classic rock! Check out Damon’s playlist below!
Damon Fox’s Playlist:
1. The Clash — “This is Radio Clash”
“I always dig a song with the band name in the title. The Clash proves you can be cool and be political. I remember wearing army jackets in the early ’80s because of them, but then again, camo is always in.”
2. The James Gang — “Funk 49″
“Joe Walsh is completely underrated as a guitarist. Whenever I want to just let it hang loose, James Gang is the only way.”
3. Arthur Brown — “Fire”

Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Lynn Collins, Taylor Kitsch and Will.i.am share their playlist selections with us in this exclusive Wolverine feature…
A Taste:
Godsmack
Wolverine rocks.
Born to be wild, he’s easily the most “rock n’ roll” of the X-Men. Let’s break it down: he rides motorcycles, has some gnarly facial hair, is made of metal and smokes cigars like there’s no tomorrow. Could he be more of a rock star? Probably not.
That said, it’s no surprise that the cast of X-Men Origins: Wolverine spent a lot of time cranking tunes on the set. In order for the actors to get into their respective characters, iPods were constantly blaring. Musical tastes varied between Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Lynn Collins and Taylor Kitsch, but everyone was bumping something.
“I actually heard a lot of Faith Hill coming out of Hugh’s trailer,” jested Ryan. To which Hugh responded, “Well, there’s a sensitivity to Wolverine, and it’s not easy to access [Laughs].”
